Recognised in Legal 500 & Chambers directories our client represents Registered Providers and Local Authorities working on major national and regional frameworks. Due to continued growth we are seeking a talented Associate/Senior Associate to help defend housing disrepair claims. The Role: As an Associate/Senior Associate in our Asset Management Team you will manage your own caseload of litigated housing conditions claims with a focus on defending social landlords. You will also supervise Junior Solicitors and Paralegals and play a key role in preparing cases for trial drafting defences and witness statements. Requirements Manage a caseload of litigated housing disrepair claims. Defend claims on behalf of social landlords including Registered Providers and Local Authorities. Draft defences witness statements and prepare cases for trial. Supervise and mentor Junior Solicitors and Paralegals within the team. Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to deliver exceptional client service. Ideal Candidate: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills: Proven track record of managing housing disrepair claims to trial. Experience working within a Social Housing team ideally representing Registered Providers or Local Authorities. Strong supervisory skills and ability to manage junior team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills adaptable to various professional contexts. Enthusiasm for the social housing sector and dedication to delivering highquality service.
