People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our well-established client based in Manchester on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering an amazing annual salary and room to grow and progress.

Day to Day Duties
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, your duties will involve:
- Complete the day-to-day responsibilities of the Quality function in the value stream team to which you are allocated to support.
- Utilise the standardised Quality Engineering tools and processes to ensure that all Quality activities are completed accurately and consistently across the organisation.
- Lead the implementation of effective APQP processes within the value stream team to which you are allocated to support.
- Alongside the Process Engineer, complete the PFMEA and Control plan activities for all production processes.
- Develop, implement and maintain robust process controls which support effective product and process quality.
- Monitor and analyse manufacturing process data, identifying and proposing solutions for quality improvement continuously.
- Work alongside the Manufacturing Engineering team to drive quality performance improvements within the Production process.
- Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
Essential Skills
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer it is essential that you:
- Have significant Quality Engineering experience in a complex AS9100 Rev D or ISO9001 managed manufacturing environment.
- Are experienced in the use of standard Quality management methodologies including APQP, PPAP, PSW, FAIR, ISIR, SPC, and Control Plans.
- Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
- Have working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Exhibit effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, it would be desirable if you are:
- Trained AS9100/ISO9001 Auditor.
- Experienced with the use of CMM Measuring Technology.
- Experienced with LEAN manufacturing methodologies and tools, such as Single Piece Flow, Jidoka, SMED and 5S.
- Experienced with standard project management tools, such as Microsoft Project Gantt Charts and Project Charters.
