Our client is a leading global healthcare technology company dedicated to enhancing healthcare systems through innovative digital solutions. Their UK office develops and delivers a range of services to clients across the UK and Europe.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of healthcare technology projects, managing the entire lifecycle, from defining requirements to deployment. This includes scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, and implementation planning.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts, to drive project success. Your strong technical acumen will enable you to contribute to and lead discussions on technical requirements, ensuring seamless execution even in the absence of SMEs. Acting as a trusted partner to clients, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation at pace, ensuring the successful implementation of cutting-edge healthcare tools.

While the primary focus will be on UK-based projects, there may be opportunities to contribute to international initiatives.

The role

  • Manage a portfolio of healthcare technology projects from requirements gathering to deployment
  • Oversee budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication
  • Engage with NHS and social care organisations to drive digital strategy and compliance
  • Act as a trusted partner to clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless project execution.

What they’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in project or programme management within NHS organisations (acute trusts, integrated care boards, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of NHS digital strategy, governance, and compliance (DPIAs, GDPR, IG frameworks)
  • Technical expertise in integration, data models, and software architecture
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project) and methodologies (Agile, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma).
