We're looking for a motivated Team Leader to join a leading plant nursery in Pershore. Position Overview

As a Team Leader, you'll guide a hardworking team in the day-to-day operations of a busy nursery. This role is ideal for someone with supervisory experience who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and learning new skills.

Pay & Benefits

  • £12.21 per hour during the initial trial period (roughly 2-3 weeks)
  • Increases to £13.18 per hour upon successful completion of the trial
  • Full training provided - no prior horticulture experience required if you've got strong leadership skills

Schedule

  • Days: Sunday to Thursday
  • Shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (peak season hours)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of horticulture staff
  • Organise and allocate daily tasks
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
  • Oversee and enforce health and safety procedures
  • Communicate progress and any issues to management
  • Take part in hands-on nursery duties to support your team

  • Previous team leader or supervisory experience (horticulture, agriculture, or warehouse/logistics backgrounds all welcome)
  • Willingness to learn - horticulture training will be provided
  • Enjoys working outdoors in all weather
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and confident leading a team
