A well-established and growing automation business is seeking a skilled ABB Robotics Engineer to join its dynamic projects team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to take ownership of robotic automation projects from design through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robotic automation systems using ABB robots (primarily IRC5 controlled).
- Program and simulate systems using ABB RobotStudio.
- Perform on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Integrate robots with PLCs, vision systems, and sensors.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams on system integration.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Support clients and operators with technical training.
- Contribute to process improvements in automation and manufacturing.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years\’ experience working with ABB robotics systems.
- Proficient in the ABB RAPID programming language.
- Strong working knowledge of RobotStudio and IRC5 architecture.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
