Project Manager / Contracts Manager MPL Site Services Are currently looking for an Time served Project Manager / Contracts Manager to work for one of our clients on their site in Barking. The Job will be starting in the new year so there is time to meet with the client and view the site and job before the new year. The Project itself is an SFS, Windows and Drylining project so our client will need experience in this field ideally or similar. We are looking for PM’s/CM’s that have ideally managed projects worth £8M+ or again of similar value. Responsibilities Construction Project Managers are responsible for several building project duties. These duties include: * Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers * Hiring construction workers * Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines * Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials * Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard * Monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending * Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email or meetings in person * Negotiating with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors Qualifications as Minimum * SMSTS * NVQ Level 6/7 * Black Card
