As Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness are consistently maintained across the site, in line with BRCGS and customer expectations. You will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards and supporting the technical and production teams with a robust and effective hygiene operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the hygiene team to deliver daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning schedules across all production and plant areas.

• Develop and maintain the site hygiene system to meet legal, customer, and audit requirements.

• Conduct hygiene audits, risk assessments, and chemical usage reviews, ensuring all documentation is kept up to date and compliant.

• Work closely with technical and operational colleagues to continuously improve site standards and hygiene practices.

• Train and develop hygiene operatives, instilling a culture of accountability, safety, and best practice.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Hygiene Manager within the food manufacturing industry.

• Sound knowledge of BRCGS, food safety regulations, and COSHH requirements.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.

• A methodical and hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.

• Comfortable working cross-functionally and capable of driving hygiene improvements site-wide.
