Product Manager

Are you an experienced professional with a passion for Electrical products and technical innovation?
We are looking for a Product Manager to manage the marketing and our suite of GIS & AIS products.
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of introducing a new product range to global markets while ensuring the needs of both current and future customers are met.
Product Manager Key Responsibilities:
New Product Development (NPD): Identify opportunities for product innovation, create Market Requirement Documents (MRDs), and collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to drive new product launches.
Product & Market Strategy: Develop and implement marketing plans for UK and global markets. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer engagement to ensure our products remain competitive.
Sales & Customer Support: Equip sales teams with technical collateral, presentations, and training. Engage directly with customers, attend global exhibitions, and support technical tenders.
Market Positioning & Analysis: Continuously monitor trends, customer demands, and competitor activity to ensure the product range aligns with market needs.
Product Manager Requirements:
A higher-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience working with MV transmission or distribution networks. Familiarity with primary application switchgear, protection schemes, and related products is essential.
Knowledge and experience with Gas Insulated Switchgear or Air insulated switchgear product families, protection schemes, or utilities project management/installation.
Strong customer focus, proactive and results-driven, with excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
Ideal Candidate:
You will be a proactive, results-focused individual with a passion for switchgear technology and a strong understanding of MV transmission or distribution networks. You should have the ability to manage complex projects and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across a matrix organization. As a technical expert, you will take ownership of your role, delivering results on time, every time.
