I am looking to speak to Steel Erectors for a key client who require someone for an initial one week cover on an ongoing project based in Barnsley.

The role of Steel Erector:

  • Erecting structural steel frames and components to engineering specifications
  • Working on conveyor systems, including supports and framework
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Use of overhead crane
  • Working closely with site supervisors and engineers
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

The requirements for Steel Erector:

  • Proven experience in steel erection, ideally on industrial or plant projects
  • Competency with rigging, bolting-up, and crane work
  • Experience with conveyor installation is highly desirable
  • Valid CSCS card (or equivalent), IPAF and/or CPCS an advantage
