I am looking to speak to Steel Erectors for a key client who require someone for an initial one week cover on an ongoing project based in Barnsley.
The role of Steel Erector:
- Erecting structural steel frames and components to engineering specifications
- Working on conveyor systems, including supports and framework
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Use of overhead crane
- Working closely with site supervisors and engineers
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
The requirements for Steel Erector:
- Proven experience in steel erection, ideally on industrial or plant projects
- Competency with rigging, bolting-up, and crane work
- Experience with conveyor installation is highly desirable
- Valid CSCS card (or equivalent), IPAF and/or CPCS an advantage
