Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 DOE

ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Commercial Manager on a permanent basis. This position works across the full lifecycle of customer engagements—from initial RFP/BID process through contract signature, into programme management and delivery, and finally supporting a seamless transition into operational service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial input into RFPs, bids, and tenders, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing models.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, sales, solution architects, and finance teams to structure commercially viable proposals.
  • Assess risks and opportunities within bid submissions and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Work alongside legal teams to negotiate contract terms, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Define commercial frameworks that support long-term profitability and risk management.
  • Ensure contracts are structured to facilitate smooth programme delivery and operational handover.
  • Provide commercial oversight during programme execution, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Monitor financial performance, revenue recognition, and cost management throughout project delivery.
  • Support change management processes, ensuring commercial implications are properly assessed and managed.
  • Ensure commercial models for ongoing service delivery, including pricing, SLAs, and performance incentives are clearly aligned to contractual agreements.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in commercial management, ideally within an MSP/SI environment.
  • IT / Technology sector experience is a must.
  • Expertise in bid management, contract negotiation, and financial modelling.
  • Ability to balance risk, profitability, and customer satisfaction in complex engagements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working across pre-sales, sales, legal, finance, technical practice, design teams, and operations.
  • Knowledge of UK procurement regulations and industry best practices.
  • Eligible to gain UK (SC) Security Clearance.
