Job Title: Digital Media Insight Analyst – £40-50k – London / Hybrid
We are seeking a talented Digital Media Insight Analyst to join our client’s expanding Analytics & Insight (A&I) team. This role is essential for integrating their data landscape into a unified source of truth that supports Business Intelligence tools, deep-dive analyses, AI predictive models, and media planning and buying strategies. Reporting directly to the Data Strategy and Analytics Director, you will be instrumental in shaping data-driven insights and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with media/client teams to define campaign reporting and insight requirements, from the briefing stage through setup.
- Validate and verify datasets through the ETL platform to ensure accuracy.
- Develop and manage client-friendly dashboards and reports to monitor campaign progress.
- Create insightful mid- and end-of-campaign performance reports with actionable recommendations.
- Maintain client and agency benchmark studies.
- Collaborate with external data, tech, and media suppliers to ensure high-quality service and relationships.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify growth opportunities for clients.
- Enable fast, self-serve BI across teams to focus on key priorities.
The A&I team leverages extensive client data to uncover insights, identify opportunities, and build data products that drive business success. Using statistical, algorithmic, and visualization techniques, you will support a variety of analytics projects, from media planning research to advanced forecasting models and data management processes.
About You:
- Must have knowledge and experience of working within Media Analytics and specifically Digital Analytics
- Strong passion for data and its role in driving continuous business improvement.
- Exceptional Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, advanced charting); DAX and Power Query experience is desirable.
- Proven experience in digital media performance evaluation and reporting, preferably within an agency.
- Familiarity with media data integration tools like Supermetrics, Improvado, Funnel, or Alteryx is a plus.
- Proficient in SQL and database design.
- Experience with marketing performance dashboards using Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.
- Background in automated data collation via web APIs.
