About the Role:
ARM are seeking a Senior Communications Engineer to join a leading building design consultancy for an exciting 6-month project. This hybrid role involves designing and managing communications systems across multiple sectors, including Nuclear, Defence, and Infrastructure. You will be client-facing, working on high-profile projects while developing your technical and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and document systems such as CCTV, access control, alarms, BMS, PAVA, and structured cabling.
- Lead technical delivery, including preparation of specifications and drawings.
- Manage project work packages, ensuring deadlines and client requirements are met.
- Attend client meetings, presenting designs and providing solutions.
Requirements:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Communications, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in designing communications systems for large-scale projects.
- Proficient in IP networking, structured cabling, and systems integration.
- Experience with BIM tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) is a plus.
- Strong client-facing and leadership skills.
