About the role
We currently have vacancies for three (3) Junior Technical Support Engineers at a salary ranging £27,000 - £33,000 p.a. dependent on experience, knowledge and capabilities. The ideal candidate should be a team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills in order to deal with tasks consistent with the position. It is imperative that candidates have good spoken and written English.
The three roles will be based on shift rotas five days out of seven and will be primarily night and weekend shifts. You will be permanently based at our Enfield (North London) Data Centre location and may be requested to visit another Data Centre Location on occasion.

- Basic knowledge of the Internet, its structure and basic networking, which includes experience with TCP/IP networking protocol and applications
- Ability to troubleshoot simple technical issues quickly and effectively with minimum supervision
- Manage and monitor BE's ticketing system including support requests, access requests, etc.

- Some experience with installation and management of Server Hardware is preferable but not essential
- A minimum of 12-18 months experience in a Technical Support or similar role
- Work well in a busy team, being quick to learn and able to deal with a wide range of issues
- Ability to assess and prioritise faults and respond or escalate accordingly
