Do you enjoy training and have the knowledge and confidence to teach about high-quality care? Would you like a job with no shift or weekend work? Do you have experience in the health and social care sector but want to use your skills differently?

As a Clinical Health & Social Care Trainer, you will travel to client premises to deliver workshop-style training courses to their workforces. This successful training company provides over 60 training courses to new and experienced staff in the healthcare sector. Previous care experience is essential for this position. You must also drive and have a vehicle. A company car is provided after your probation period.

Salary £32,000 if you have a training qualification (£31,000 without, and the company will pay for you to obtain the qualification). Your working week will involve delivering training courses for at least four days, with at least two days spent working from home to complete administration and planning. As a Health and Social Care Trainer, you are a key representative of the company and will professionally present yourself at all times.

In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive the tools to do the job - a mobile phone, laptop and company car (after probation). The company also offers ongoing training for professional development and a personal benefits package.

Key function & areas of responsibility:
  • Preparing materials for daily training delivery, including course paperwork
  • Delivering courses with core competence areas to meet the client’s needs
  • Facilitating learners to meet the course learning objectives, ensuring assessment and feedback
  • Complete course paperwork efficiently
  • Assisting the National Training Manager with developing and maintaining course resources to ensure compliance with the latest standards/practices and legislative requirements
  • Participating in Continuous Professional Development to ensure that you develop subject knowledge
  • Keeping abreast of and reporting on current and potential future requirements for the Care sector training
  • Promoting the company’s complete portfolio of training products.
