Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Senior Family Support Worker for a local authority based in Ilford. In this role, you will lead and support a team of Family Support Workers, ensuring effective interventions and assessments that meet the needs of vulnerable families in the community.
Key Duties:
- Supervise and support a team of six Family Support Workers.
- Oversee and guide assessments to identify priority family needs.
- Deliver and coordinate targeted interventions for vulnerable families.
- Respond to local community needs and support early help initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience supervising or mentoring staff in a support setting.
- Background in family support, social care, or early help services.
- Proven ability to complete assessments and deliver interventions.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and multi-agency working.
