We are currently partnering an established Law Firm who have been practicing for 35-years, who are recruiting for a permanent Legal Secretary to join the team in their Birmingham office.
The role is full time, offering a negotiable salary, and the start date will be subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing full support to the team of Solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently
- Creating and amending legal documents
- Handling and managing telephone calls, visitors and enquiries
- Administering filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files
- Preparing correspondence using the case management system
- Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and the firm’s policies in general
Experience required:
- Experience and knowledge working within a Residential Conveyancing department would be ideal
- Good telephone manner, and be comfortable speaking to clients in person and on the phone
