Are you a hands-on Network Engineer ready to take ownership of complex, multi-datacentre environments? We’re working with a forward-thinking tech organisation that’s scaling its infrastructure and automation capabilities—and they’re looking for a Network Engineer to join their growing team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, securing, and managing enterprise-grade WAN/LAN/edge networks across multiple datacentres.
- Supporting customer networks and services with a focus on high availability and resilience.
- Working with Cisco, Dell, Barracuda, and VMware NSX-T technologies.
- Automating network provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible, Python, and Terraform.
- Providing 2nd/3rd line support and participating in an on-call rota.
- Collaborating with internal teams and customers to scope work, manage technical debt, and improve service delivery.
- Maintaining backups, patching, and compliance across all network devices.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong understanding of OSI layers 2–7, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, WAFs, and load balancing.
- Scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with config-as-code tools.
- Working knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
- Exposure to cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, VMware VCF).
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset and a willingness to learn and grow.
