IAM Engineer – Contract | Northampton (Hybrid)£420/day Inside IR35 | Until Year-End (Likely Extension)2-3 Days Onsite Weekly

Join a high-impact IAM project at an enterprise scale.We're looking for a skilled IAM Engineer with hands-on experience in IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) and strong Java development skills to deliver secure, scalable identity solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Design & Deliver IAM Solutions using ISIM for provisioning, RBAC, and access lifecycle management

• Build Custom Java Integrations – connectors, workflows, and business logic

• Integrate ISIM with apps, directories, databases, and third-party IdPs

• Enforce Security Best Practices aligned to standards like GDPR and HIPAA

• Troubleshoot & Optimise IAM systems for performance and efficiency

• Collaborate Across Teams – security, infra, and app dev

• Stay Ahead of the Curve by driving continuous improvement in IAM strategy

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience with IAM tools (ISIM preferred, but others like Ping or MIM also welcome)

• Strong grasp of IAM protocols (LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OIDC)

• Solid Java background (Spring/Hibernate a bonus)

• Experience in complex, enterprise-scale environments

• Familiarity with cloud IAM (AWS, GCP, aPaaS)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

• Great communicator, effective team collaborator

Bonus Points:

• Deep ISIM expertise (workflows, connectors, reporting)

• Exposure to DevSecOps, CI/CD, and containers (Docker, K8s)
