Responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer will include:
- Managing all aspects of electrical design for projects.
- Producing and managing project-specific design deliverables.
- Interpreting and understanding client requirements through specifications, drawings, and correspondence.
- Communicating with clients, subcontractors, and external design resources to ensure specification compliance.
- Conducting site surveys and feasibility studies for existing assets.
- Preparing procurement specifications and detailed design construction drawings.
- Managing third-party designs and supporting installation and commissioning teams.
- Preparing and updating drawings, including single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment specifications.
- Recording and documenting design changes through to completion and issuing As-Built documents.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-8 years of real-world electrical design experience.
- Relevant electrical qualification or time-served experience.
- Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
