Are you a qualified lawyer with a background in real estate or property development law, looking to step into a high-impact role with a dynamic and growing property developer?

This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to work directly with the Head of Legal in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting complex and varied legal matters across the entire property development lifecycle – from acquisition through to sale and lettings.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Legal Counsel, you’ll gain hands-on experience and autonomy in a broad range of matters, including:

Site acquisitions and set-up
Acquisition, development, and investment financing agreements
Affordable housing/offtake agreements with registered providers
Commercial lettings and sale of completed developments
Forward funding agreements (PBSA/BTR)
Construction documentation
Managing your own caseload and working closely with external Counsel

What We’re Looking For

Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or other jurisdictions if you have property experence ) with 1+ year PQE
Strong experience in commercial property or real estate law, ideally with exposure to development work
Background in either private practice or in-house
Strong attention to detail and highly organised
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
