Senior Vice President, Product Marketing, Asset Servicing

Our Marketing and Communication organization is expanding our product marketing team and seeking future team members for various positions, inclusive of people leaders and individual contributors. This role will be based at our London office, located at 160 Queen Victoria Street.
In these roles, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Drive commercial success of BNY’s Asset Servicing business by creating and executing marketing strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand the roadmap, develop positioning, and create go-to-market strategies.
- Plug into broader marketing initiatives across the enterprise and collaborate with other stakeholders across marketing to facilitate the creation, coordination, and communication of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities Can Include:
- Drive marketing strategies that support business priorities, with a focus on setting clear goals and quantifying commercial impact.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the business from positioning through to sales enablement.
- Build product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with clients and the market to highlight our differentiation.
- Build knowledge about the products, the client segments they serve and the competitive environment.
- Create and maintain a sales enablement suite of materials, building a growing set of marketing tools and literature to support demand generation, client lifecycle marketing, sales and account development.
- Identify product synergies across the broader enterprise.
- Act as cross-functional leader who unites marketing, sales, customer success, and product teams to drive business results.
- Collaborate with business partners including product development, sales and relationship management teams whilst also collaborating closely with specialist marketing functions and communications teams to execute deliverables.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- A number of years of experience in product marketing, with a strong track record of success in the financial services industry.
- Proven ability in developing and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of marketing principles, customer insights, and emerging trends in product marketing within financial services.
- Creative thinker with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in product marketing strategy development and execution.
- Candidates with a sound understanding of the investment ecosystem and knowledge of asset servicing, custody and fund administration is preferable.
