Specialising in designing restaurants, bars, and high end social venues , they blend creativity, and a touch of luxury to create environments that captivate and inspire. As the project pipeline continues to expand, they are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead projects from concept to completion and lead other Designers.
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be at the forefront of hospitality projects, managing every aspect from initial concept through to final execution. You will lead client-facing engagements, including presentations and meetings, to ensure a seamless alignment between the client’s vision and design excellence. Collaborating with project managers, contractors and suppliers, you will enjoy the challenges and rewards of designing and delivering a variety of high profile venues while continuing your own professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design projects from concept development through to completion, ensuring creative vision and practical execution align seamlessly.
- Manage client relationships, including hosting client meetings and presenting design proposals with confidence and professionalism.
- Develop detailed drawings, plans, and 3D visualisations using AutoCAD and SketchUp, alongside other design tools.
- Oversee all aspects of space planning, material selection, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering collaboration and innovation within the team.
- Stay informed about industry trends, integrating fresh ideas and innovative approaches into project designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in interior design, with a portfolio showcasing high-end restaurant and bar projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept to completion.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools (e.g., V-Ray or Enscape).
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and FF&E for hospitality design.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead client meetings and presentations confidently.
- Excellent project management skills, including experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, innovative designs.
