We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our clients' team as a HR Consultant. It's a full-time, permanent role.
Location: Chester offices 3 days per week
Salary: £40,000 - 45,000
Hours: Monday to Friday
Benefits: Private medical after probation, EAP, pension, supportive environment, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
What you'll be doing:
- Offering advice to clients on a wide range of matters including employment law and hands on HR Consultancy services
- Supporting with employment contracts, policies and company handbooks as well as other HR documents
- Managing and leading on formal HR processes such as disciplinaries, redundancies, grievances
- Delivering training sessions for Managers, MD's and CEO's on current employment law topics and best practice
- Supporting with various HR projects
- Maintain accurate client records
What experience you'll need:
- You’ll be an experienced HR / Employment Law professional who enjoys advising and supporting with hands-on HR topics
- Strong and current understanding of UK employment law, best practices and employee relations
- Experience in chairing disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies and TUPE consultations
- Excellent presentation skills, able to deliver training
- Commercially minded approach to problem solving ensuring clients receive practical and strategic guidance
- Enjoys managing a variety of client matters simultaneously
