Role Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, landlords, directors, and non-resident individuals
• Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment Tax Returns and 60-day Capital Gains Tax returns
• Communicating tax liabilities to clients and providing the necessary information to meet deadlines
• Identifying tax planning opportunities within your portfolio and communicating these to the company’s directors
• Assisting the Tax Manager with ad-hoc advisory projects

Candidate Requirements

• Experience managing their own portfolio of clients within a busy accountancy practice
• A thorough understanding of the Self-Assessment Tax Return process
• ATT qualification or be qualified by experience
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax and the ability to research and communicate technical information
• Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to resolve queries in a timely manner
• A proactive and driven approach, ensuring excellent service levels for clients
