My client is a well-known Loughborough based Independent Financial Adviser firm and they are looking for a Mortgage IFA Administrator to provide support to a team of Mortgage and Protection Advisers from their Loughborough office. You will need experience of working within a Financial/Mortgage Advisor firm as an Administrator to be considered.
You will need to be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients. Our client has a strong focus on delivering a high quality of customer service which they pride themselves on. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified with some financial planning qualifications, although this isnβt essential. You must be comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines and can use your own initiative as well as working without close supervision. Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office are also essential, and it would be desirable to have experience of relevant IFA back-office systems and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing and submitting mortgage and protection applications.
- Managing documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other relevant parties in the mortgage chain to provide updates and resolve queries.
- Tracking applications and following up to ensure timely progression.
- Maintaining accurate records and managing client files.
- Providing administrative support to the advisory team as required.
- Previous experience in mortgage and protection administration or a similar role (preferred).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and professional manner.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with mortgage and protection products and the application process.
- Competency in using relevant software and systems for document management and communication.
