Are you an experienced Financial Planning Administrator with a passion for complex casework and high-quality client service? We’re working in partnership with a highly respected, forward-thinking Wealth Management firm that is looking to expand its support team with the addition of a Financial Planning Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Services professional to join a business that is a leading company in the Hertfordshire area. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting financial planners and paraplanners in delivering top-tier advice and service to clients.

The Role:

  • Managing and processing all post-sale administration
  • Involvement in complex cases including Defined Benefit transfers, IHT planning, and pension administration
  • Post-sale administration and client onboarding
  • Gathering documentation for LOAs and illustrations
  • Organising and preparing for client meetings and compiling compliance paperwork
  • New Business administration
  • Maintaining client files via IO
  • Supporting paraplanners with administrative tasks and assisting in basic report writing
  • Acting as a key liaison with clients and providers, including complaint handling where required
  • Mentoring junior team members of the team

Role Requirements:

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Financial Planning / Wealth Management firm
  • Working knowledge of platforms and a back office system
  • Experience processing new business and managing pipeline cases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting DB Pension Transfer and IHT cases.
  • Progression towards Level 4 Diploma (CII or equivalent)
