We are currently recruiting for a proactive and customer-oriented Retail Sales Assistant to join our client’s busy retail team in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a respected retailer known for its friendly atmosphere and commitment to excellent service.
About the Role:
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering a positive shopping experience. From welcoming customers to managing stock and supporting store operations, this is a varied and hands-on position that requires flexibility and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide outstanding service.
- Assist with product selection and offer tailored recommendations.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns professionally.
- Process sales transactions (cash and card).
- Support in-store promotions and special offers.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked displays.
- Receive and process deliveries.
- Open and close the store as needed.
- Reorder stock and manage inventory levels.
- Assemble and disassemble scooters (some heavy lifting required).
- Answer phone calls and complete light administrative tasks.
- Work flexibly, including weekends, to meet business needs.
