Location: Hybrid (office-based in Loughborough, with flexible working arrangements)

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Flexible working with core hours from 10am-2pm, Monday to Friday

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

I am partnering with a well-regarded financial planning firm to recruit a Financial Planning Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a client-focused, professional team and play an integral role in delivering high-quality financial planning services.

As Financial Planning Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of Financial Planners and Paraplanners, ensuring all tasks are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with FCA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing new business applications across pensions, investments, and protection
  • Submitting and tracking Letters of Authority (LOAs)
  • Obtaining and analysing client policy information from providers
  • Updating internal systems to reflect the progress of client cases and business pipelines
  • Liaising with product providers to ensure timely processing of applications and requests
  • Communicating with clients to gather outstanding information or provide progress updates
  • Responding to client and provider queries via phone, email, and post
  • Managing daily administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and handling correspondence
  • Ensuring all work complies with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Consumer Duty principles
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Previous experience in a similar IFA or wealth management administrative role
  • Knowledge of financial products such as pensions, investments, and life assurance
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload independently
