I am partnering with a well-regarded financial planning firm to recruit a Financial Planning Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a client-focused, professional team and play an integral role in delivering high-quality financial planning services.
As Financial Planning Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of Financial Planners and Paraplanners, ensuring all tasks are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with FCA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Processing new business applications across pensions, investments, and protection
- Submitting and tracking Letters of Authority (LOAs)
- Obtaining and analysing client policy information from providers
- Updating internal systems to reflect the progress of client cases and business pipelines
- Liaising with product providers to ensure timely processing of applications and requests
- Communicating with clients to gather outstanding information or provide progress updates
- Responding to client and provider queries via phone, email, and post
- Managing daily administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and handling correspondence
- Ensuring all work complies with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Consumer Duty principles
- Previous experience in a similar IFA or wealth management administrative role
- Knowledge of financial products such as pensions, investments, and life assurance
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload independently
