Head of Supply Chain
Are you an experienced Supply Chain Manager within the FMCG industry?
Do you have a proven track record of leading a fast paced team within supply chain?
Are you operationally focused with the ability to drive efficiencies and build high performing teams?
MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading FMCG business on the search for a Head of Supply Chain. This is a permanent role based within the North West.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages 3PL provider within a multiple distribution centre setting.
- Develops and manages the budget for Operations.
- Responsibility for procurement of Service Centre equipment and supplies.
- Responsible for ensuring Shortage Control related procedures are followed to keep inventory level accurate.
- Ensures the Service Centres can operate at all times and fully support the divisional requirements.
- Manages projects relative to the Service Centres, starting from problem analysis, through specification, conceptual and detailed design until contract management, installation, and completion.
- Defines and communicates motivating goals, identifies training needs, coaches, motivates and develops the team to ensure performance growth within the department. Holds team accountable for expected results. Establishes and maintains a high quality skilled cross trained workforce.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations within the work unit.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 10+years of experience in Logistics and / or Supply Chain.
- Proven ability to “raise the bar” in terms of performance, within a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong leadership skills and able to build partnerships.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Result oriented and CI focused.
