Technical Business Analyst – Permanent – £55k pa
Poole, Dorset (MUST live within commutable distance, as this role will be primarily onsite, with

We are searching for a Technical Business Analyst specialising in Microsoft Stack/Azure/Linux bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The position requires a unique blend of business acumen and technical expertise, particularly in Microsoft technologies, Azure cloud services, and Linux environments. The Technical Business Analyst in this role can effectively assist in driving digital transformation initiatives and optimise business processes across environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis
- Map existing system
- Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into technical specifications
- Create detailed functional and non-functional requirements documents
- Develop use cases, user stories, and process flows
Skills required to do the job:
- Understand Microsoft Stack technologies, including .NET, C#, and SQL Server
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services and architecture
- Demonstrate proficiency in Linux operating systems and distributions
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, etc.)
- Proficiency in Linux command-line interface and shell scripting
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps practices and tools
- Familiarity with IIS and Azure monitoring and security features
- Design and propose Azure-based solutions to meet business objectives
- Analyse and optimize existing cloud infrastructure
- Recommend appropriate Azure services for various workloads
- Understand hybrid cloud scenarios using Azure Stack
- Plan and oversee migration of on-premises systems to Azure
- Identify integration points between different systems and platforms
- Propose solutions for seamless data flow between Microsoft and Linux environments
