Procurement Analyst / London / £35,000

My client, a leading brokerage, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing procurement processes, evaluating supplier performance and SLAs, and ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

The successful candidate will use data analytics and relevant tools (ServiceNow, Office365, Teams, BI) to optimise supply chain activities, drive cost savings, and support sourcing delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage transactional sourcing activities, primarily focusing on IT products and services.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier terms.
  • Evaluate supplier performance using criteria such as price, quality, delivery, and service.
  • Foster and manage supplier relationships.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as directed by the Head of Procurement.
  • Collect and analyse procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor procurement metrics.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Identify gaps in procurement processes and recommend improvements.
  • Support the implementation of procurement best practices and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., ISO9001/ISO27001, CSR, and audit requirements).
  • Serve as a primary contact for procurement-related inquiries at all levels.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with procurement systems, ERP/Service Desk tools, and analytics software (e.g., Excel or Power BI).
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role is advantageous.
