Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse and Logistics Manager role:

  • People-Centric Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team to reach their full potential. Your focus on the well-being and development of your staff will be the cornerstone of success whilst having a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Health & Safety: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the warehouse and distribution arm of the business.
  • Performance Metrics: Continue to evolve the organisational approach to KPI's, whilst ensuring existing and new site standardisation.
  • WMS & ERP Expertise: Utilise your experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Business Systems to drive operational efficiency. Familiarity with WMS & ERP implementations is a definite plus.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of goods from the warehouse to the end customer.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate for the Warehouse and Logistics Manager opportunity will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Have a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background – Essential.
  • Have a minimum of 3+ year's experience at a Warehouse Shift Manager / Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager or Logistics Manager level – Essential.
  • Have managed teams beyond 10+ employees through managerial reports – Essential.
  • A working knowledge of WMS / ERP systems – Advantageous.
  • Exceptional people management and leadership skills – Essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities – Essential.
  • Commutable to Melton Mowbray (LE13) area – Essential.
