Spire Harpenden are looking for an experienced Radiographer to join the Bank Imaging Team, this will suit a candidate who is looking for a more work/life balance. Job Purpose

To provide highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients within the radiographic department and to undertake a role in either plain film/Theatre/Fluoroscopy. To ensure the team delivers effective imaging by providing appropriate clinical leadership, managerial leadership and educational and development expertise.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs.
  • Develop practice in addressing patient’s health and wellbeing needs.
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
  • Develop knowledge and practice in own area of work and provide specialist education and teaching.
  • Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security.
  • Develop and improve services.
  • Evaluate and improve quality.
  • Enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity.
  • Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices.
  • Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
  • Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.

Qualifications and Training

  • Degree (BSc Honours in Radiography or equivalent qualification)
  • Post graduate qualification in specialism
  • Evidence of post registration development in relevant specialist short courses at Master’s level of study.
