Rutherford is exclusively partnering with a digital assets startup seeking a Head of Compliance based in the UK. The company is in the process of obtaining FCA regulatory approval and is looking for an experienced individual to lead this initiative while also building and scaling a global compliance team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the compliance and FCC framework for the firm
- Lead on the FCA authorisation and advise stakeholders on best practice
- Work closely with regulatory consultants and counsel on regulatory applications outside of the UK.
- Build a reputable team across the globe
- Manage BAU compliance/FCC tasks, including KYC/KYB
Requirements:
- 7 - 15+ years of compliance/FCC experience, with expert FCA knowledge
- Must have digital assets/crypto knowledge and experience
- Ideal candidate will have experience around OTC trading/liquidity providing
