Head of UK Compliance – Managing Director Level – London-Based

Overview of the Role

A leading private markets firm are looking for a Managing Director in the London Compliance team. The firm have various business lines but are best known for private credit, infrastructure, real estate and renewables. The role will oversee the UK team and provide support across the EMEA & APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory advice across UK, EMEA & APAC operations
• Lead compliance support for the setup of new regulated activities, including public-side portfolio management in the UK.
• Ensure implementation and regular review of compliance policies and procedures across the UK and coordinate with international compliance teams.
• Assist in day-to-day compliance responsibilities, including compliance monitoring, distribution compliance, financial crime and investment compliance
• Deliver compliance training to various stakeholders

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Detailed compliance experience covering private markets
• Team management experience required
