Position Overview:
My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Property Paralegal to join a dynamic team in Central London, The ideal candidate will have a proven 2-year experience within residential or commercial property as well as a strong understanding of conveyancing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working on freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases.
- Being able to carry out Re- Mortgages and re-finances including properties in companies.
- Buy to Let (including Company) purchases and re-finances.
- Registration including companies house and Land Registry.
- The ability to draft and file SDLT Returns.
- Experience in drafting reports on title and reports on mortgage.
- Dealing with replies to pre-contract enquiries.
- Drafting lender standard documents (e.g. mortgage deeds/guarantees).
Qualifications + Experience:
- Educated to degree level
- Completed LPC or SQE 1
- Minimum 2 years property experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Be able to demonstrate confidence and self-motivation
- Able to work to strict deadlines and in a pressurised environment
- Attention to detail is essential
- IT literate
- Be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to progress
