The Opportunity: Treasury Accountant Contract: Permanent Location: Cannock The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. The Impact you will have: Cashflow forecasting and updating the Excel Cashflow models Cashflow Reviews Placing of new HP funding across the Group, managing the Group HP level including HP forecasting and completing the files for the monthly GL posting/reconciliation Covering for England and Wales treasury activities including bank payments, daybook, posting daily payments and reconciling the bank accounts Daybook reviews / assistance with loading Assist with the external quarterly banking audit with Wells Fargo Cover for the monthly ABL reconciliations to the general ledger and posting amortisation of fees Assist with managing foreign currency requirements for the Group (Euro/Dollar) Assist with managing daily cash balances ensuring there are sufficient funds to cover the groups commitments and assisting completing group draw downs and transfers Assist with consolidating all entities cashflows into a group file to determine our overall group headroom position with Wells Fargo, ensuring compliance with our ABL agreement covenant Assist with daily reconciliations of the group ABL loan and collateral ledger to Wells Fargo portal What will help you to excel in this role: At least 5 years experience in a finance role Preferred qualified or part qualified CIMA or ACCA Strong Excel skills in PIVOT tables, calculations, VLOOKUP Able to work to tight deadlines What you can expect from us: Future development and career opportunities Contributory pension scheme with employer contributions Profitshare bonus based on business performance Paycare and eyecare health scheme High street discounts What’s next If you are interested in joining the Briggs Group then please click on the apply now button and a member of the team will be in touch Not sure if this is the right role for you?
