An established specialist Insurance Broker who is part of a larger national Business Services group is currently looking to add an experienced Account Executive to their established Business Protection team. They operate across a range of sectors including retail, hospitality, care, leisure, and healthcare. They seek a motivated professional with previous Life, Key Person, Shareholder Protection & Employee Benefits experience to support the needs of a diverse and interesting group of clients. There is a pipeline of warm prospects generated through the wider business.
Purpose of the role
- To secure new commercial clients and cross sell to existing clients within Business Protection and Employee Benefits.
- Develop your reputation internally and externally as a professional, knowledgeable broker.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurers.
Skills and experience
- You would have significant experience in Life, Key Person, Shareholder Protection & Employee Benefits.
- Demonstrable success providing telephone-based and face-to-face advice in sales.
- Able to manage high volumes of enquiries.
- To maintain consistent conversion rates in quoting and selling to new clients.
- Strong relationship building, influencing and team building skills.
