Polar Black is a fully integrated creative agency; we specialise in event production, immersive brand experiences and creative design. Working with some of the world’s most distinguished luxury, lifestyle and fashion brands, we operate globally to curate and produce incredible events and activations. The Role
As the Creative Lead, reporting to the Head of Creative, you will spearhead the conceptual and visual direction of high-end experiential moments and productions across fashion, beauty, luxury lifestyle, and art. This role demands a strong creative who can blend strategic thinking with bold creative execution, helping to guide a multidisciplinary team to produce work that is emotionally resonant, strategically sound, culturally relevant, and flawlessly crafted. You will ensure each output aligns with the client's brand essence while pushing creative boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of compelling creative concepts across experiential, content, installations, events and exhibitions.
- Mentor and inspire internal team members and external collaborators throughout the creative process.
- Translate brand strategy and client briefs into elevated, visually arresting creative work.
- Pitch ideas confidently to clients and stakeholders, articulating creative rationale with clarity and authority.
- Ensure all creative output upholds the highest standards of craftsmanship, innovation, and brand alignment.
- Collaborate closely with producers to ensure seamless execution of concepts within time and budget.
- Stay ahead of trends in culture, design, fashion, and technology to keep the agency’s work on the cutting edge.
- Foster a strong creative culture within the agency through mentorship and thought leadership.
Ideal Candidate / Essential Skills
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Minimum 8-10+ years' creative experience in the luxury industry.
- Positive and adaptable approach to problem solving.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple high-stakes projects.
- Proven ability to lead and develop beautiful creative work within the luxury or fashion/lifestyle sectors.
- Strong art direction skills, with an exceptional eye for visual storytelling, typography, and design.
- Conceptual thinker with the ability to translate abstract ideas into tangible creative solutions.
- 360 experiential thinking and strategic insight.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence and engage senior clients.
- Hands-on knowledge of creative tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Vectorworks and/or similar CAD software) and production processes across print, digital, film, and experiential.
- Experience in 3D software and rendering (bonus).
