Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: Crouch End, North London. Site based Monday – Friday
Proper Recruitment are excited to be supporting one of our law firm clients with sourcing an accounts assistant for their office in Crouch End, North London.
Responsibilities:
- Review client ledger balances and identifying discrepancies
- Helping to clear ledger balances and archive matters
- Dealing with fee earners and support staff regarding accounts queries
- Processing payments (Chaps, Faster, BACS, International)
- Informing fee earners of money in and processing transactions
- Dealing with the daily client bank reconciliation
- Posting of disbursements, anticipated disbursements
- Processing bills
- Helping accounts manager when required
Requirements:
- Team player with excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills
- Knowledge of Solicitor Accounts rules beneficial
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must be experienced at multi-tasking, managing time sensitive documents and taking responsibility for delegated tasks
- Must thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment
Salary:
- £28,000 – £40,000
