Our client is looking for someone to take responsibility for coordinating, supporting and delivering events and activities in their Extra Care and Sheltered Housing Villages and in their wider community neighbourhoods.

Job requirements:

  • Develop and deliver a programme of activities and events with their customers, that puts them at the heart of everything that they do.
  • Assist in setting up new groups and support existing customer groups to promote independence, including through volunteering opportunities.
  • Maintain records so that they can deliver on requirements of the statutory framework for housing providers around activities and events.
  • Work as part of a wider Customer & Neighbourhoods Team to promote the values and vision of the services available to customers.
  • Plan and promote the programme of activities and events with customers in a range of ways, including in communities and across social media platforms.
  • Engage with vulnerable, hard to reach or underrepresented customers to ensure that they are able to access activities and event opportunities.

  • Some experience of activities and events planning.
  • Experience and knowledge of health and safety legislation in risk planning for a wide variety of activities and events.
  • A passion for supporting customers and an understanding of their aim to deliver great customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills and good ICT skills such as Word, Excel, Publisher and social media.
  • Resilience and the ability to record, share and prioritise customer feedback.
  • Flexibility, with the willingness to work a variety of shifts and locations to cover service requirements and delivery (including weekends).
  • Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle for work.
  • DBS check.
