Job Title: Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
My client is one of the UK’s leading MEP building services contractors, headquartered in central London. With a turnover of around £200 million and a strong pipeline of work, the business operates across a wide range of sectors including commercial office, data centres, education, hotel & leisure, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, and residential construction. They are a well-established and respected market leader known for their commitment to excellence and innovation in the construction industry.
Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of projects, an opening has now arisen for a highly skilled Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to lead a major commercial office shell & core and fit-out project in the heart of London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that offers long-term career progression and stability.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial aspects of major MEP projects
- Provide cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Oversee contract administration, including preparing and reviewing tenders, contracts, and claims
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards
- Manage a commercial team, providing guidance and mentorship
- Identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, client specifications and company standards
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships
