Our client is a Regional Developer, with a focus on the High-end residential market. They have a growing pipeline of work across London and the home counties, primarily structural residential refurb projects, but there will be RC frame and traditional new build. Your first project will be a 28 Unit apartment in Kensington (commercial to residential, being developed in phases).
You will be a standalone site-based Project/Site Manager initially managing one project liaising with the office team, supported by and with weekly visits from the Operations Manager. The business is in a period of long term targeted growth as the Build Business for a Developer.
Duties include:
- Ensuring that the works are constructed in accordance with the client and company’s requirements.
- Create and Work to the programme of work.
- Maintain and update project reporting and program/plan.
- Arrange and coordinate internal progress meetings.
- Liaise with office team on commercial and design issues regularly throughout the contract.
- Ideally support Cost analysis/control activities for projects.
- Arrange and lead internal progress meetings.
- Liaise with office and sub-contractors in relation to any variations and delays.
- Produce correspondence in conjunction with the commercial team and maintain a filing system.
- Monitor and review quality assurance, support snagging as required.
- Produce RAMs for site, implementing Health & Safety Procedures including safety inspections of the site and ensuring regulations relating to health & safety are being met.
You will have:
Relevant experience in the London High End residential market.
The ability to put together a program, keep and projects on schedule and within budget.
- Ideally Degree qualified or equivalent, with SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
