Junior Sous Chef £38,500 package Outskirts of Chelmsford Rayment Recruitment are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join a busy gastro pub/restaurant located in a popular village on the outskirts of Chelmsford. This popular Gastro Pub are currently using the best of British produce to create a fusion of great tastes and innovative culinary delights, whatever the occasion. The venue combines the romance and charm of an extraordinary heritage building, with all the comforts of contemporary living for the guests. This venue extends this philosophy to its food, offering a modern restaurant with a classic open fireplace and oak beam finish in the dining room. The Role: The right Junior Sous Chef should be motivated and creative, have a passion for fresh food, be hardworking and a team player As Junior Sous Chef, you will be work alongside the Head and Sous Chef creating fresh, seasonal dishes for their a la carte restaurant. You will also train and mentor junior members of the brigade. You must have proven previous Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef experience within a fresh food establishment, be able to take control of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. Skills Required: The ideal Junior Sous Chef will have a real passion for high level cuisine and fantastic food presentation. Be able to work in a team, use your own initiative. Be innovative with concepts and ideas. Have knowledge of Menu Completion, Stock control and Rotas Variety of shifts including splits, evenings and weekend.
