Location: Leeds office (projects across Yorkshire)

WRG is excited to once again be supporting one of the UKs leading independent property & construction consultancies. The business has huge plans for 2025 and are looking to appoint an ambitious Health & Safety/ CDM professional to their team in Leeds. They have invested heavily within their H&S/ Compliance team in 2024 and now require a competent construction H&S professional to join their Yorkshire office.
The H&S/ CDM Advisor would cover a diverse portfolio of property & construction projects (commercial, residential, healthcare, education, retail, industrial) across the region. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary environment where they will be working alongside Building Surveyors, Project Managers and Civil Engineers to offer a H&S/ CDM service to a portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Offer a range of H&S and CDM services to clients.
- Deliver various H&S services to ensure compliance on construction projects.
- Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.
- Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required.
- Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place.
- Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones.
- Liaise with various stakeholders (architects, contractors, developers, designers, client) and keep them informed of changes regarding safety.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).
- Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body.
- Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.
- Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry (desirable).
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Full UK driving license.
