We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team within a modern, fast-paced FMCG production facility. The site operates high-speed packaging machinery and is committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of high-speed packaging equipment.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve process faults that affect efficiency, accuracy, and equipment uptime.
- Investigate technical issues such as misfeeds, jams, misaligned products, or packaging defects.
- Implement machinery modifications and improvements to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain engineering standards and support production uptime targets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement (CI) projects across the site.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in FMCG or other fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair capabilities.
- Familiarity with modern packaging machinery and a passion for machine performance.
- A proactive, curious, and solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
Desirable:
