We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team within a modern, fast-paced FMCG production facility. The site operates high-speed packaging machinery and is committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of high-speed packaging equipment.
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve process faults that affect efficiency, accuracy, and equipment uptime.
  • Investigate technical issues such as misfeeds, jams, misaligned products, or packaging defects.
  • Implement machinery modifications and improvements to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain engineering standards and support production uptime targets.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement (CI) projects across the site.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in FMCG or other fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair capabilities.
  • Familiarity with modern packaging machinery and a passion for machine performance.
  • A proactive, curious, and solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Desirable:
