AVTAV Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client – a leading airline catering company supplying premium in-flight meals to major international carriers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional, high-volume kitchen operation that directly supports Heathow Airport.
You\’ll be preparing and delivering dishes to exact specifications, running your own section, and helping maintain the smooth running of a 24/7 kitchen team – all while producing meals served at 30,000 feet.
Role Details

Pay: £16.37 per hour

Location: Slough

Rota: 4 on / 2 off

Shifts: Will include weekends
-
Start Times: Between 05:00 – 09:00 (AM) and from 13:00 (PM)

Key Responsibilities
-
Prepare dishes from seasonal menus in line with airline specifications
-
Manage your own section and support production assistants
-
Maintain HACCP and food safety standards at all times
-
Work to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
-
Support Head and Sous Chefs with daily kitchen operations
-
Record food temperatures and ensure compliance is met
-
Deliver consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
Requirements
-
Minimum 1 year of Chef de Partie experience across multiple sections
-
Experience in airline catering or high-volume production (preferred)
-
Good communication and strong time-management skills
-
Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
-
Able to handle all meats and alcohol
-
Flexible and reliable – kitchen operates 24/7
-
Fluent English and the ability to work independently or in a team
