Your responsibilities:

  • Shaping and delivering large complex programs from inception to Go-Live, Hypercare, or Transition.
  • Provide client advisory services for digital transformation.
  • Drive clients’ business growth through identifying program change opportunities.
  • Support the account director on sales strategy.
  • Manage complex set of stakeholders at multiple levels including CXO’s, policy makers, and business owners.
  • Lead and manage Agile and Waterfall delivery.
  • Tracking and reporting on progress against the plan, including managing exceptions and escalations.
  • Managing suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with key partners, product vendors and 3rd party providers.
  • Assessing and managing the risk profile of the program mitigation plans, including creating and maintaining registers.
  • Provide reports to Program Operational Boards and Senior or Executive level Steering Committees.
  • Manage sprint delivery teams (Product Manager, Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, Architects, User Researchers, UX Designers, Software Developers, or Testers).
  • Actively contribute to business development, pre-sales, bid response, proposal response creation, client presentation, and commercial activities.
  • Exposure to full spectrum of services including Cloud, Infrastructure, Service Desk, End User Services, Service Delivery, Operations management, Testing, ERP, or Shared Services.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Ability to present clients’ solutions and business models to technical and non-technical audience during sales stage and delivery phase.
  • Previous experience with UK Government Digital Services (GDS) and Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Strategy.
  • Proficiency in digital technologies (Cloud, RPA, AI/ML, BI, Data/Analytics, Cognitive Chat solutions, Process mining, BPM).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Previous working experience with large program management.
  • Hands on experience in rolling out end-to-end transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to multiple delivery models including Agile, or Waterfall.
  • Strong understanding of project and program structure, standards, gateways, process adherence, and accurate and detailed planning.
  • Ability to transition new or on-going services (Application Development, Support, or Infrastructure) into service transition of large programs to BAU.
  • Experience in Change Management, Risk Management, Financial Management, Pricing, Commercial, Contracts.
  • In depth knowledge and work experience in Service Delivery operations.
  • Previous experience of working in DevOps Environment.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Experience with the UK Public Sector bid process, Supplier Qualification or RFP process and proposal response creation.
