The Kingsley by Thistle is a classic Edwardian hotel, near Covent Garden, Holborn and Oxford Street. The Kingsley has been awarded 4-star status and has 129 bedrooms and seven meeting rooms. The team is relatively small and close-knit in keeping with the property’s combination of modern comforts and historic charm. The Role: In this role, you are the face of Food & Beverage! Providing a warm welcome, taking orders, delivering food and drink, as well as setting up and clearing down the restaurant will form part of your normal duties, however the greatest and most important task is helping our guests and customers have an amazing time! From recommending dishes and drinks, to knowing where to catch a taxi, or the best theatre shows – you are not just waiting staff, you are a local legend! What we look for: Passionate about delivering the highest levels of service with a desire to learn, work hard and progress Comfortable in a front line role facing the public Empathetic and able to build relationships An open personality who is relaxed and natural in their interactions Accurate with good attention to detail Demonstrable desire to pursue a hospitality career Able to work effectively as part of a team Previous experience in a fast paced service environment What’s in it for you?
