Senior Functional Safety Engineer – Assisted and Automated Driving 6-month initial contract Hybrid working – Leamington Spa Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.* I am currently recruiting on behalf of an Automotive OEM, based in Leamington Spa, who are seeking a Senior Functional Safety Engineer to join their team As Senior Functional Safety Engineer, your main responsibilities are: Delivering ISO 26262:2018 work products specified within the Functional Safety Plan for Items related to Assisted and Automated Driving Maintain all ISO 26262:2018 Work Products for assigned Items including Item Definition, HARAs, Functional Safety Concepts, and Functional Safety Requirements. Own the development and execution of Integration, Verification and Validation test specifications and other relevant documents/analyses. Own the development of all planned ISO 26262:2018 work products up to and including the Item Safety Case. Masters degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic or Automotive Engineering, Batchelors degree and equivalent industrial experience. Minimum of 3 years experience of functional safety within the automated and assisted driving domains Experience in Integration, Verification of FSRs and Safety Goal Validation.
