If so this could be the role for you. My client has a new complex HVAC project in Mid Cornwall with a project value of £45 million over 3 years. The project is a data centre plant replacement and refurbishment project and requires a HVAC Mechanical Project Manager to join the team. The role:- To manage the Mechanical Package in line with the project and manage the resources on the project on a day to day basis and to report any staff issues as appropriate. Manage project commercial issues and cost reporting whilst identifying the clients requirements and ensure they are delivered to the clients’ satisfaction. Representing the company on any internal or external issues. Regularly audit the project to ensure compliance. Communicate with the project team regularly on project specific matters and company initiatives. To manage procurement and achieve best value for Engineering Services. The requirements:- To have worked as a Mechanical Project Manager or similar for the last 10 years in a HVAC capacity on commercial projects. To have experience of delivering Mechanical Packages on data centres Experience of managing a project team to reach completion within budget and to programme. Ability to interpret the requirements of the specification. As well as managing procurement, labour and sub-contractors, controlling contract costs and variations. Experience of co-ordinating M&E Services installations Compilation and presentation of Operating & Maintenance Manuals Experience of managing contract values ranging from £2m and above BTEC: HNC Building Services BTEC: ONC Building Services IOSH directing safely – desirable. CSCS card.
